Sacred & Healing Rituals

We offer a space where ancient Balinese traditions become part of your personal wellness practice.

Gratitude Flower Ceremony: A mindful practice where you prepare and present traditional flower offerings, dedicating time to express gratitude and honour the present moment.

Fire Ceremony (Agni Hotra): A ritual using sacred fire to mark the letting go of past concerns and the setting of new intentions.

Lunar Ceremonies: We observe the cycles of the new and full moon with special ceremonies, allowing you to align your practice with the rhythms of nature.

Sacred Offerings: Take part in the daily practice of preparing and presenting flower offerings, a fundamental act of mindfulness and gratitude in Balinese culture.

Water Purification (Melukat): A personal ceremony held at our forest spring, led by a local priest, focused on renewal and clearing emotional burdens.

Excursions & Nature

We coordinate private excursions to significant sites across Bali, ensuring you visit them with comfort and ease.

Sunrise Dolphin Sail: North Bali is renowned for its wild dolphins. Aboard a traditional boat from our beach, you'll watch them at dawn over ginger tea, along the North Bali coastline. Our trips are conducted responsibly — no one enters the water with the dolphins, and our local guides know how to observe them respectfully, at a distance.

Munduk Waterfalls & Rice Fields: Cool highland trekking through rice fields, jungle, and spice plantations, with visits to the Munduk Waterfalls.

Banjar Hot Springs & Vihara Temple: Bathe in natural volcanic hot springs and visit Bali's oldest Buddhist temple, dating to the 6th century.

Singaraja & Sekumpul Waterfalls: Bali's former colonial capital, the 15th-century Pura Beji temple, and the spectacular Sekumpul Waterfalls.

Mount Batur Sunrise Trek: A guided sunrise ascent through volcanic landscapes, culminating in breakfast above the clouds with views of Lake Batur.

Menjangan Island Snorkelling: World-class coral gardens, crystal-clear water, and abundant marine life, at one of Indonesia's most vibrant reefs. All equipment provided.

Umeanyar Beach & Turtle Conservation

A seven-minute walk from the resort, Umeanyar Beach is a beautiful sunset spot where local families gather to swim and play. We are proud to support a community-led turtle conservation project here, born during the pandemic. When hatchlings are ready for release, we invite our guests to join.

Our team also organises regular beach clean-ups as part of our commitment to protecting Bali's coastline. If your stay coincides with one, you are warmly welcome to join us.

Curating Your Stay

When you arrive, our reception team is available to help you arrange any of these excursions, ceremonies, or activities. You will also find a Zen Guest Handbook in your room detailing these experiences, along with our team's personal recommendations for the best local spots to visit.

Arts, Culture & Community

We provide opportunities for you to take part in local traditions and support the community surrounding the resort.

Cooking Masterclasses: Learn to prepare signature Balinese and Indonesian dishes, using local spices and traditional ingredients.

Cultural and Creative Sessions: Private sessions in traditional Balinese dance and group art therapy, including poetry and painting.

Forest Exploration: Our seven-hectare forest sanctuary is open for daily self-guided exploration, and every guest is welcomed with a guided forest tour near the beginning of their stay. Spend time among the trees or find a quiet moment in our forest yoga pavilion.

Conservation: Join our efforts to support the local area — including turtle conservation at Umeanyar beach, beach clean-ups, and visits to the local kindergarten.
